Shrine News
Happy New Year from all of us at the Fatima Shrine Boston, as we change out our calendars I can’t help reflect of the year that past. I was reminded of this by a short video of Pope Leo closing the Holy Doors to end the Jubilee Year of Hope.  I am grateful to have had the opportunity to pass through those doors during the month of October of the Jubilee Year. I considered it a great honor and privilege by the grace of God to have traveled to Rome and visit all the Major Basilica’s and pass through the Holy Doors. This past year we also celebrated the 100 anniversary of the request by Our Lady of Fatima to Sr. Lucia to establish the Devotion of the First Five Saturdays in December. The beginning of the New Year gives us a new resolve to begin the Five First Saturday’s. If you have never fulfilled them or to repeat them once again with the intentions of being united to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The month of January in the new year gives us ample time to unify with our Lady in praying the rosary for peace, family, for rights for unborn children and conversion of sinners. A great big Thank You to all of you who have help in anyway to keep our beautiful shrine opened and thriving, many miracles are continuing to occur through all your prayers.
